Description:
VLC Media Player is a tool to multiple audio and video files.Is a very simple program,it is very easy to use.You can set preferences for audio,video,input and codecs,stream output,playlist and interface.You can add filters like equalizer with 10 bands ,volume normalizer or parametric equalizer.Can use subtitles while you are watching a movie.Has an autodetect option for that.Have filters for logo display,time and marquee.Acces filter module make reference to dump and record operations .Service discovery modules who can be choosed are shoutcast tv listings,radio, SDP file parser .Podcasts and SAP announcements .
Starting with version 0.9.0, VLC supports iSight capturing and processing on Mac OS X 10.5 or later (video only). This is unsupported on 10.4. Additionally, on 10.4 or later, VLC is able to grab video and audio from EyeTV applications and therefore all EyeTV-compatible capture devices. The user needs to install a plugin to EyeTV.app in order to use this features. Guidance is provide in the User Interface.

VLC Media Player remote control interface is available; also the mouse gestures .Can set hotkeys to have quick access to features.Can make presets for fullscreen mode ,play and pause,faster,forward jump and many others .Enable skinned playlist and choose from various of colors and interfaces.Initially this program was VideoLAN Client and supports extensions like MP3,divX,MPEG3,4 etc.You you have good speed for internet connection can listen online radio and music.
Can be used like a streaming server with features like fly transcoding.
