Password Safe 1.0

      Password Safe is an Open Source tool that allows you to have a different passwords for all the different programs and websites that you deal with, without actually having to remember all those usernames and passwords. Have a special encryption algorithm.Linux or Unix clones that use the same database format have also been written.Choose a master password to keep safe entire database.

Security starts with you, the user. Keeping written lists of passwords on scraps of paper, or in a text document on your desktop is unsafe and is easily viewed by prying eyes (both cyber-based and human). Using the same password over and over again across a wide spectrum of systems and web sites creates the nightmare scenario where once someone has figured out one password, they have figured out all your passwords and now have access to every part of your life (system, e-mail, retail, financial, work).

It allows you to manage your old passwords and to easily and quickly generate, store, organize, retrieve, and use complex new passwords, using password policies that you control. Once stored, your user names and passwords are just a few clicks away.

Is simple and very fast.If you are choosing a weak pass,this program will prompt you and suggest to take another one.Set default length of the words,use easy to read characters and generate all kind of items.Have History were you can keep all passwords saved.If you want to change one,must enter the older one.Have some tools to restore database and make backups for this application.Create .ibak files for intermediate backup.All entries can be exported in xml ,text or kepass format.A full list with command line arguments is provided by the producer.
Can start the program at login and use uppercase letters.
