      AIM is an America Online Instant Messenger.Allow to speak with other people around the World,all you need is an internet connection. It is an all new user experience with an elegant, tabbed look and feel. New Quicknote feature replaces the initial IM window to provide a snapshot of known contact information about that buddy and give users three choices: launching an IM session, launching an AOL Talk session or sending a mobile text message to a cellular user. The tabbed messaging interface helps users easily transition from text to mobile instant messaging or AOL Talk, and will eventually enable users to launch video IM sessions, share files or images and invite Buddies to play games with one click.

Enter at aol.com and choose a screen name,set your password and personal info and click submit.You can use buddy chat or voice chat.At address book you add new contacts and manage existing names (by name,email,id,phone number).You can add plugins or new dashboard.Can add a group of friends or edit your profile .Features:call center,mobile,radio.When you are typing a message to a friend in you Aim window,can set the font type and size ,send files,pictures and video or enable emoticons .

In Aim buddy info you can write information about yourself and these phrases will be showed online to your contacts .You can forward messages to your mobile phone number (when you are not online can receive messages on the phone).This feature is useful because there are situations when you are away,on a trip for example,and you do not have Internet connection .
Can sort the names by first letter (alphabetically).Can see logs (View->Show logs or press CTRL+H). You have a quick link for Set as invisible .How to add a group in messenger ?Choose Edit>Add group(Ctr+G) ,write the desired name of the group and press enter.After that, you can add new persons in specific groups .On home page will find default expressions for saving time (you can choose a expression instead typing more than one time the same words (like Hello!, How are you ? etc.)
