LIVECHAT Communicator is a corporate instant messenger. It enables fast and intuitive IM contact between all the employees, allows creating secure (encrypted with SSL) private chats and conferences using one of many protocols (ICQ, MSN, Skype, Gadu-Gadu, LIVECHAT). All the instant messaging flow is monitored and can be managed by administrator. It is possible to block external IM protocols and have all the employees use just the LIVECHAT protocol. Communicator is also ready to be used as a SIP/VoiP phone. All the users have access to the history of public chats what creates an internal knowledge base in the corporation. If it is needed, the application allows user to take over other user?s screen with the remote screen functionality, but only if he agrees. Communicator is supports remote work - users can perform their activities from any place. At the same time this software is fully compatible with LIVECHAT Contact Center- i.e. support staff can instant message employees using Communicator. It is also possible for support staff to transfer customers and website visitors who are using Contact Centers web communicator to other employees inside the company, who are using Communicator. The application is customizable, manageable and easily accessible through the web administration panel. Wide range of plugins and add-ons, such as CRM plugin or spell checker, makes expanding Communicators functionality very easy. At the same time LIVECHAT API is available and it became a base for building new functionalities and new add-ons to the application.
