The Sentry-go Quick File Monitor permit you to immediately & smoothly monitor changes made to both local and remote files, the contents of those files, directory changes & structure modifications, entries written to local Event Logs. If issues are detected, it can either take automatic action, or alert you before end-users are affected. Using its in- built web-based reporting, you as well have immediate access to monitored notification direct from your web browser. Monitoring pluses: The availability of local or remote files or directories; Check the overall size of a file, some or files all files or directories/sub-directories; Be alerted when a file is updated within a given timeframe, or when no changes are made to a file - ideal to ensure files are being processed in a timely manner; Monitor for changes to the underlying directory structure - new files being added to or files being removed from a directory or subdirectories; Monitor errors written to the Windows Event Logs based on error type, event ID, source or keywords & phrases within the text; In addition to Event Logs, you can as well monitor the entries written to text-based log files such as those used for custom applications, based on keywords or phrases within the text.
