Zoom Tool is much more than a simple magnifier. This program takes things a few steps beyond the simple magnifier. This is a professional level tool that is completely free to use. Zoom Tool permit you to zoom in to whatever you have on your monitor. If you are anything like me, I like to have my monitor at its highest resolution. Sometimes I can not make out the details of some 8 point text. Zoom Tool has a Desktop Mode where the viewport is updated with whatever is underneath the mouse pointer. While in Desktop mode, the viewport location can be locked or frozen. The photo mode permit you to zoom into opened graphics files as well as any pasted images. Images can be pasted directly into the program allowing you to be able to analyze virtually any photo that is published on the web (by right click Copy Image ). In order to analyze some windows, you can sometimes take a screenshot of that program when it is active by pressing Alt+Prt Scr. This copied photo can then be pasted into the Zoom Tool. These pasted photos will become part of the History in the same way as an opened file. History permit the user to fast switch between photos that have been opened or pasted. Each item in the history retains the percent zoom and the scrolled to location, allowing the user to fast compare the finite details of images. History is unable to include desktop viewport contents. Color grab feature permit the user to get a color from any sample. Colors can be stored to the clipboard in many formats. Color samples can be taken from a single pixel, or an average of 3x3 or 5x5 pixels. Various clipboard formats include HTML, RGB, CSV of RGB, Photoshop, C++, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, Delphi, single pixel or 32x32 pixel bitmap of the color. Opens files that are BMP, JPG, PNG or GIF. GIF files actually animate (if applicable). Paste From... menu option fast takes screenshot of other windows.
