Students learn about project design, the Visual J# Express toolbox, and numerous elements of the J# language (which is based on Suns Java language).

Numerous examples are used to demonstrate every step in the building process. The tutorial as well includes several detailed computer projectsfor students tobuild and try.

These projects include a number guessing game, a card game, an allowance calculator, a drawing program, a state capitals game, Tic-Tac-Toe and even a simple video game.
