Foobar2000 is an advanced audio player for the Windows computers. Options include ReplayGain support, low memory footprint and native support for several popular audio formats. An important feature is to open component architecture allowing third-party developers to extend functionality of the player.Full Unicode support on Windows NT .ReplayGain support.Low memory footprint, efficient handling of really large playlists .Advanced file info processing capabilities .Can customize playlist display.

Is an audio player (in the same category with Winamp). The design very simple and Foobar is simple to use .Was developed by Peter Pawlowski in 2001 and in 2005 he start a collaboration with Holger Stenger.

Options are:

can open a new file or an audio CD,load ,save or add a playlist with music files and set the preferences .

Can use undo or redo ,remove or crop
- view
Show the Equalizer were you can set frequencies (have load preset option like Winamp and an auto level).
- playback
Include playback follow cursor ,play random, shuffle or repeat melodies .
- library
Album list needs this Media Library to be configured first.Here you can rescan media library.

At preferences (Ctr+P) you can view settings for album list,converter,default user interface,Flac decoder,CD audio decoder and other.You can choose bitrate per second and extensions for files who you want to be associated with this software.MP1, MP2,MP3,AAC,WAV,FLACC ,IFFAIFC,CUE, CDA are a few of them.Can sort incoming files to a specific folder and exclude file types.In media library Foobar can exclude files or add music folders .Support settings for networking like HTTP buffer size or proxy server .Playback options include threads priority,source mode ,set volume control up or down and reset total time played . The converter have extensions for encoding , like WAV,,MP3 or FLAC level 5.Also,here you can write bit depth (from 8 to 32 bit).A forum is at your disposal on developer page.
