DAEMON Tools

Daemon Tools is a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator and is able to emulate nearly all known copy protections on the market today. The application mounts ISO images to a virtual drive without having to burn them to a CD. It is further development of Generic Safedisc emulator and incorporates all its features. This program allows running Backup Copies of SafeDisc (C-Dilla), Securom, Laserlock, CDCOPS, StarForce and Protect CD (and many others) protected games. Also included is a Virtual DVDROM drive (Generic DVD-ROM) enabling you to use your CD images as if they were already burned to CD.

DAEMON Tools works under Windows9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/7 with all types of CD/DVDROM drives (IDE/SCSI) and supports nearly any CD protection.

The kit have the options to install components or uninstall this software.
You can install core files (required),search bar ,desktop shortcut and start menu shortcuts.Can create virtual DVD or CD-Rom.Nero ( here details) can not perform this action.You must set the device parameters (complete fields like vendor,model,revision,choose the letter of the drive and set DVD region). Can check the function Auto Insert Notifications .

The main function of daemon tools is to run backup copies of DVD or CD images .Is an application for disc emulation.
Supports a lot of file extensions formats. Very well known are .iso, .cue and .nrg. You must select a virtual CD ROM and the number of devices and set the device parameters for virtual Daemon CD/DVD ROM. You can select audio properties when using this tool; audio parameters can be founded on your DVD Rom (My Computer->right click on DVD ROM->Properties and see audio options).
For mount an image , right click on icon and press mount; to unmount a drive , select unmount operation.

A special feature is to increase the speed of an image creation .This feature is called fastdump.
After you create an mount image , you need a DVD/CD burner to write this copy on a disc. Alcohol 120% or Nero are the best.

Daemon Tools emulation options are : safedisc, securom, laserlock, RMPS and Laserlock. The menu is very simple , the installation the same and the benefits are very good. Is very useful to create CD or DVD copies when you have just one drive .
In addition ,a forum can be find, for different issues . Warning: This software contains an optional adware toolbar. We recommend you deselect this option during installation.
