TightVNC

TightVNC is a free remote control software package derived from the popular VNC software. With TightVNC, you can see the desktop of a remote machine and control it with your local mouse and keyboard, just like you would do it sitting in the front of that computer. Has a GPL license and with full source code available; Useful in remote administration, remote customer support etc.

It is a networking software ,like RealVNC or UltraVNC.Can be used like a server or like a viewer.The install process is simple and quickly because TightVNC is a small program.

Functions are very similar with real vnc. You can choose the speed of internet bandwidth connection.
Viewer: write the server address and click connect .In viewer mode you have a lot of features: - format and encode , use 8-bit color ,custom the compression level from fast to best,allow jpeg compression,disable clipboard transfer.display in full screen mode,request shared sessions and configure the cursor settings when are using this VNC. The toolbar can be on screen by default and you can set the local cursor shape (dot,small or normal).

You can accept reverse VNC connections on TCP port and set a path were the Tight VNC log file will be saved .
Server can be set to accept connections from other computers through the internet .For incoming connections you can ask for a password (recommended), set the display number in use , lock the workstation when the client is disconnected and set inputs during connections . Allows you to pool foreground color , pool console windows and use or not the display monitor driver .

You can share for work full screen or just a part of your desktop window to the people who are connected with it to a computer .Can enable buil-in on HTTP server and refuse concurrent connections (connections in the same time or who are in conflict ).Is mandatory to aet a password for improve your security (to not allow unwanted connections from other internet surfers). With this software you can connect to your PC from office or in a public place .
