Command Line is a instrument to run programs from a small shell next to your tray. So you dont have to use the startmenu to run it and keep a clean desktop. For example to start the microsoft calculator you have to enter calc. This is much quicker than Start-Programs-Accessories-Calc. Command Line can as well open directories.
