Track tropical storms, hurricanes, typhoons, etc everywhere in the world and view track relative to your intended route or present location. Includes overview of avoidance routes and heavy weather tactics. Although developed for merchant vessels this tool will be of vital importance to everyone dealing with the risk of tropical storms, including yachts, etc. Clear and easy to use overview charts show the forecast track of the storm and its stormfield, the track of the storm relative to your intended route, the available options for avoidance routes, and the tactics open in heavy weather situations. The software is able to calculate the risk of synchronous or parametric rolling, broaching, or flooding and will show dangerous course and speed settings on its various charts. The database of this application is compatible with other recent NavTools applications and with NavTools Route 7 voyageplanning which will be released soon.
