Each time you open LEGO Digital Designer or start a new model, you’ll see the Get Started with LEGO Digital Designer window. Click to choose from the following themes:LEGO Factory and MINDSTORMS .Build your dream model from a huge range of bricks. You can buy the bricks from the LEGO Store and upload your design to LEGO Factory Gallery.Work with all the bricks from the unique robot set, LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT #8527. Then upload your model and building guide to the LEGO MINDSTORMS website.

The Camera control let you rotate your model and zoom in and out so you can see the model from various angles and in different sizes.The building tools are only available in Build mode. Use the tools to select, move, clone, color and rotate bricks in many different ways.Each time you start building a model in LEGO Digital Designer, you will see a building palette. The building palette has two options:The brick palette gives you access to an unlimited number of bricks.The starter model palette lets you choose a starter model to build from.

Import LXF, LXFML and LDraw files into LEGO Digital Designer. You can import files even if you already have a model open on the scene.

Make figures using a lot of blocks. Use pre-defined models like trucks.
