The new Yahoo Messenger released in 2011, version 11 is more social media oriented. probably you love Facebook and now this application has been integrated in Yahoo! Messenger 11. Simple enter login details and you are able to share updates from yahoo or Flickr directly on Facebook feed (profile's Home). You can use Facebook photo as avatar on YM 11. View a list with all friends from Facebook directly on your chat window and talk with them here.

Update status and share it on the web. Now is easy to play online social games like Mafia Wars or FishVille.

Version 11 also is supported by all major mobile platforms including Android or iPhone.

This social integration is the major change for it. in rest, menu is the same, links for preferences, Webcam status, Add Contact, ignore and what you usually use are in the same places.

In main window there are two tabs, one with contacts and one with Y! updates. At the last you can view wall updates and stay informed in real time with what your friends are talking or posting on their statuses.

Design has been slightly improved. Emoticons and avatars are unchanged.
