If you have a large quantity of files on your hard drive and the default Windows search function is not running too fast, you can try to use an alternative like this: Search Everything.
It has a very good speed and you can find very fast all items by name.
You can select at Options default hard drives (external connected drives e.g. USB supported too) where to search. Type the search term more accurate to get the results faster.
Once the list with found items is displayed, right click on an item and you can open path, explore path, copy full name or path to clipboard. This will help you to locate files and folders faster.
