JStock is an open source, multi platform stock market software designed to help users manage and analyze their portfolio based on real time stock data and charts. It can also record personal transactions and make profit and loss calculations.
The program supports more than 20 markets worldwide and allows users to define and manage stocks portfolios, keep track of their transactions, use predefined indicators or create new ones using the built-in indicator editor and then set automatic email, SMS or system tray alerts based on them.
The Stock Watchlist tab will display complete lists of stocks from all selected countries that include up to date prices and individual charts with a 10 years history (prices and trade volumes) for each selected item from the list. You can also scan your stocks for relevant indicators.
Among the options available, worth mentioning automatic calculation of broker fee, currency conversions, best sell price suggestions based on expected profit, intraday charts display and the possibility to increase the default history period (from 10 to 15 or 20 years).
JStock is aimed for both occasional and regular investors and provides useful and up-to-date stock market information for making successful investments.
