It has a simple interface where you will select 2 files to be compared. It has an option to use older file as base revision (will detect date automatically, in order to determine the older file).
For folders comparison allows to check to compare subfolders too, to include or exclude certain extensions (e.g. ZIP, XLSX ..).
Differences are highlighted in a separate window, you can save result as HTML file. Folder comparison allows to sort results.
From Options you can set CSDiff to search by letter, word or by line. Can exclude whitespaces. In reporting area you can choose to view all or only added, changed or deleted differences.
