Editor's review
This program can be used to create MKV video files from your discs. It supports DVDs and Blu-ray. Once copied to your hard drive, videos can be played with multimedia players that support .mkv files, such as the freeware VLC Media Player.

Interface and general use is pretty simple, MakeMKV will detect ROM input and all you need to do is to click Make MKV button.

At Preferences you can set folder where files will be saved, enable UPnP streaming, change audio settings (AAC, FLAC, WDTV). It has an expert mode option for more advanced tweaks.

It preserves chapters and titles, also you can choose to save only some chapters.
