How To Download YouTube Videos

YouTube is the largest video sharing web site. It has millions of users around the World, thousands of new videos are added and published every day. Often you may like a video, whatever is music, movie, presentation, a cartoon and so on. YouTube.com it does not offer the chance to save the videos on your hard disk, but you can do that and I present a few ways.


1. Using Internet Download Manager software
Install this software on your computer. You can download it from our web site. A brief presentation of this software also has been made in our review.

At installation choose to install add-ons for Internet browsers, like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Firefox. This little trick will help you to save videos. After installation, when you are going to a YouTube page, a small image will appear and will ask you if you want to save the video. like in this image.

Click on Download this video and you will get the file on your hard disk, in desired location.

The best part, using this software, is that you can download any video from any web site.

2. Using YouTube Downloader software

This is another software application which will allow to get videos, but only from youtube. Get it from this page. Install it and uncheck options to install toolbars or to change default search provider, if you want.

Start the application and simply copy the url of youtube.com page

Browse for a specific location where the file will be saved and click Download

3. Use RealDownloader software

Install it and a small window will appear when a video is on a web page, like in this image. Click this window and you will get very fast the video file on your computer.
