How To View Version of DirectX Installed on Your Computer

Usually games requires a third-party program in order to be played. This is DirectX by Microsoft. Some applications offer to install this application, but you can skip this step if you have it already installed.

In order to determine which version of DirectX is installed on your Windows PC, follow these steps

1. Click Start and Run (in some versions of Windows is not necessary to press Run)

2. Type this word dxdiag and press Enter



3. A new window with DirectX Diagnostic tool will open and here you can view data about your software and hardware configuration. See in image bellow the line where the version of DirectX is revealed


4. Click Exit to quit this application
