How To Show Hidden Files in Windows (7/XP/Vista)

Windows by default has some files hidden. These files may be important for operating system or not. The good part with this is that you cannot accidentally delete one of these files and you have a cleaner space to work on your computer, without hundreds of files or folders.

1. Go to My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options

2. Go to View tab

3. Check the box with Show hidden files, folders and drives and click Apply

That is all you need to do to view all files. Images presented are created using Windows 7, but in previous versions the steps are the same, design may be a little different.
